Cancellation & Refund Policy

Please read before completing your payment

Effective: April 2026

All Submission Fees Are Non-Refundable

Once payment is successfully processed, the submission fee cannot be refunded under any circumstances, including non-selection, withdrawal, or event changes. This is standard practice across all film festivals and screening events globally.

1. Refund Policy by Scenario

Double charge for the same submission (payment gateway error)	✓ Duplicate charge refunded within 5–7 business days

2. Cancellation by Filmmaker

Filmmakers may withdraw their submission at any time before the event by contacting us at info@filmexpoindia.in. However:

Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of the submission fee.
Once a film is selected and confirmed, it cannot be withdrawn from the programme.
Films withdrawn before selection will be removed from the review queue.

3. Cancellation by Film Expo India

In the unlikely event that the Film Expo India 2026 event is cancelled entirely due to force majeure (natural disaster, government order, pandemic, or similar), we will:

Notify all submitted filmmakers via email within 7 days of the decision.
Make a good-faith effort to reschedule the event to a later date.
If rescheduling is not possible, offer a partial credit towards a future edition of the event.
Full cash refunds in case of total cancellation are at the discretion of Exhobuzz Pvt Ltd management.

4. Technical Payment Errors

If you were charged but did not receive a submission confirmation email within 30 minutes of payment:

Check your spam/junk folder first.
Log in to your dashboard — your submission will appear if payment was captured.
If the amount was deducted but no submission was created, contact us at info@filmexpoindia.in with your Razorpay payment ID within 48 hours.
We will investigate and resolve the issue within 5–7 business days.

5. Contact for Refund Requests

To raise a refund-related concern, email us at info@filmexpoindia.in with:

Your registered email address.
Your submission code (e.g. FEI-2026-XXXXXX).
Your Razorpay payment ID.
A clear description of the issue.

We will respond within 3 business days.
